Spirometry Testing (Lung Function)

Respiratory health may be impaired by exposure to work-related activities involving possible inhalation of hazardous substances.

The COSHH Regulations require health surveillance for respiratory health where workers may be exposed to chemical, biological or significant dust inhalation hazards. 

Lung function testing by health assessment questionnaire, spirometry measurements and clinical examination are possible forms of health surveillance.
